Croatia are a definate form team, who won their qualification group in great style. They won none of their 12 matches. They scored 28 times, proving that they are full of goals. Their defence is strong too, they only conceded eight in the twelve matches. This excellent run of form has seen them rise to twelfth spot in the FIFA rankings. It will be a big surprise if they fail to get to at least the quarter finals.

Forget about odds for Group Winners or Group qualifiers, there will be no value at all. Look out for Top Team Goal scorers and also top individual Goal scorer. Striker Miroslav Klose for instance, was top goal scorer at the last World Cup and is 9/1 against achieving the same feat in Euro 2008.

At 8/1 to win their Group and around 2/1 to qualify are attractive odds. They may also be worth an each try at 50/1 to win the tournament.

Austria are 100/1 outsiders to win the trophy, but keep an eye on their odds for Group qualification. As joint hosts this should not be ruled out.
